One this vehicle’s standout qualities is the ample amount of interior space and huge trunk. The third row of seating is spacious with room enough for full size adults; a feature that is actually rare for its class. A really nice touch is the Sync system from Ford Motor Company which enables the driver to control Bluetooth, navigation and audio functions. If you’re so inclined you can even throw in a DVD entertainment center which features two screens that can each play a different DVD, just perfect for long trips. Cargo space is at 18.1 cubic feet but if you fold the third row down space is maximized to a whopping 103 cubic feet.

The Navigator is a stylish vehicle that gets a lot of attention from onlookers. There are plenty of chrome accents throughout and features a show stopping grille with the Lincoln badge. The drive quality is smooth and it derives its power from an eight cylinder 5.4 Liter engine with 310 hp and 365 lb feet of torque. Handling is very competent despite its massive size and the cabin is well insulated from exterior noise. The suspension is tight while steering feels accurate and precise.

Engineers have included a vast array of safety features which include air bags with side curtain airbags, Advance Trac and the Ford Mykey System. MyKey allows parents to control the speed and stereo volume when their teens are driving. A rearview camera is also standard which should make backing up and parking into a tight spot much easier. The 2010 model fared quite well during safety crash tests, the NHTSA issued it an impressive five stars for frontal and side protection during impact.
